Pass. सज्यते, or -सज्जते ( °ति), to attach one's self, cling to, be devoted to or intent upon or occupied with ( loc.), [Mn.]; [MBh.] &c.;

to be in love ( pr.p. -सज्जन्ती), [Hariv.];

( -सज्जते), to be the consequence of something else, result, follow, be applicable, [Pat.]; [Bhāṣāp.]; [Sarvad.] :

Caus. P. -सञ्जयति, to cause to take place, [Naiṣ.];

Ā. -सज्जयते, to attach to, stick in ( loc.; with न, ‘to fly through’, said of an arrow), [R.]

प्रसञ्ज् [prasañj]   1 P. To become attached to or fond of, feel affection for. -Pass.
   To cling to or adhere to.
   To follow, apply or be applicable, hold good in the case of (active also in this sense); इतरेतराश्रयः प्रसज्येत, वैषम्यनैर्घृण्ये नेश्वरस्य प्रसज्येते Ś.B.
   To be attached to; तस्यामसौ प्रासजत् [Dk.]
