संत निवृत्तीनाथांचे अभंग संत निवृत्तीनाथ हे संत ज्ञानेश्वर महाराजांचे थोरले बंधू होत.सर्वसामान्य जनतेला संस्कृत भाषेतील भगवद्‌गीता समजत नव्हती म्हणून निवृत्तीनाथांनी ज्ञानेश्वरांना प्राकृत(मराठी)भाषेत लिहीण्यास सांगितली, तीच "ज्ञानेश्वरी".
