क्षत्तृ (क्सॅथ्रोई) (गणराज्य) n.  एक जनपद (सिकंदर आक्रमणकालीन - उत्तर पश्चिम भारतीय लोकसमूह एवं गणराज्य)
जो सिंधु एवं चिनाब नदियों के संगम के समीप स्थित तीन छोटे जनपदों में से एक था (अम्बष्ठ देखिये) ।

   One who cuts or carves anything; क्षत्ता वामस्य देव भूरेः [Rv.6.13.2.]

   3. The son of a Sudra by Kshetriya woman, whose employment is catching ani- mals that live in holes.

   5. A name of BRAHMA.
