धि    1. cl. 6. P. धियति ( दिधाय, धेष्यति &c.) to hold ( [Dhātup. xxviii, 113]). Prob. formed fr. √ 1. धा, of which it is the weak form.
धि  m.  2. m. receptacle (only ifc.; cf. अम्बु-, इषु- &c.)
धि    3. or धिन्व् cl. 5. P. धिनोति ( aor. अधिन्वीत्, [Br.]; pf. दिधिन्व; fut. धिन्विष्यति, धिन्विता Gr.)

to nourish, satiate, satisfy, [Br.];

to delight, please, [Kāv.]
धि    4. = अ॑धि2 ( e.g. in धि-ष्ठित [ [MBh.]; [BhP.]] for अधि-ष्ठित q.v.; cf. पि = अ॑पि, व = अ॑व).
