1. A woman's zone or girdle, formed of twenty-five strings.
2. A military belt or girdle worn round the waist or chest, [Page783-b+ 60] upon the coat of mail, to bind it to the body.
E. सार strength, and षण् to give, aff. अच्, or अस् to diffuse, aff. ल्युट्; also सारशन .
