कलापिन् n.  कृष्णयजुर्वेद का एक शाखाप्रवर्तक । वैशंपायन का एक प्रमुख शिष्य । इसके चार शिष्य हरिद्रु, छगलिन्, तुम्बुरु तथा उलप । कलापि का चरण (शाखा) उदीच्य कहा जाता है । पाणिनि ने इस चरण का निर्देश किया है [पा. सू.४.३.१०८] । महाभाष्य में हर ग्राम में कठकालाप है, ऐसां लिखा है ।
