	*स्त्री.* लहान मुडा ; भात किंवा इतर धान्यें पेंढ्यांत वेष्टून बांधलेली वाटोळी मोटळी . ही मुडी पपनस सोलल्यावर दिसावें तशी कळीदार दिसते . हींतील धान्य ६ ते १० कुडव असतें . ह्याहून ज्यास्त धान्य मावणार्‍यास मुडा म्हणतात . मुड्याचा आकार अंडाकृति व मुडीचा चेंडूसारखा गोल असतो . मुडीहून लहान ( २ ते ६ कुडवाच्या ) गोलास बिवळा म्हणतात . बिवळा अर्थ ३ पहा . २ पुंजी , भांडवल . [ मुडा ] ०मारणें मारुन बसणें - भयानें दबकून , हातपाय आंखडून बसणें ; उकिडवें बसणें .

	A small bundle or case formed of layers of rice-straw or grass bound round with cord, containing rice, grain &c. The quantity is, in सावंतवाडी, from six to ten कुडव; quantity exceeding this constitutes a मुडा. Of the मुडी the shape is spherical, of the मुडा oval. A quantity or its case less than मुडी, or from two or three to six कुडव, is termed बिवळा. मुडी मारणें or मारून बसणें To cower, crouch, squat.
